The REX awards program recognizes outstanding remodeling projects throughout Pierce County. Categories included residential exterior remodels, kitchen and bath updates, additions, and entire home transformations, among others. This year, a total of 17 winners received awards.

Condo liability reform, SB 5334, was signed into law by Governor Inslee on April 30. This legislation will help correct overreaching condo warranty liability that has been a problem since the 1990s and will allow for new condo construction.

Effective May 6th, 2019, Puget Sound Energy will be changing the pricing for customer requested Residential Disconnect/Reconnect work. Master Builders Association of Pierce County held its annual Presidents Gala and Member Recognition Awards on Thursday, December 12th, 2018 at the Courtyard by Marriott Tacoma Downtown. This is a special event for Master Builders Association of Pierce County. Not only does the event celebrate the installation of 2019 board members and leadership, it also recognizes outstanding members. The President’s Gala is a night where we can say thank you and farewell to the outgoing MBA President, and welcome the incoming MBA President for the coming year.
