Master Builders Association of Pierce County held its annual Presidents Gala and Member Recognition Awards on Thursday, December 12th, 2018 at the Courtyard by Marriott Tacoma Downtown. This is a special event for Master Builders Association of Pierce County. Not only does the event celebrate the installation of 2019 board members and leadership, it also recognizes outstanding members. The President’s Gala is a night where we can say thank you and farewell to the outgoing MBA President, and welcome the incoming MBA President for the coming year.

BIAW is working with Kitsap County, Herrera Environmental Consultants and the Washington Stormwater Center on a grant-funded class for Builders, Developers, Remodelers and those who work the sites (excavation, site prep, roads, etc). The grant is funded by WA State Department of Ecology.

The MBA and its members are always working on new and creative solutions to make housing more attainable. Among the viable solutions, we feel that jurisdictions should adopt and implement fee simple townhouse codes.
