
The Master Builders Association of Pierce County is proud to announce the recipients of its annual scholarships, supporting students in their pursuit of careers in the construction trades. This year, the association awarded a total of $10,000 in scholarships, recognizing the outstanding potential and commitment demonstrated by these deserving individuals.
The selection committee diligently reviewed numerous applications and essays, seeking students who exhibited not only exceptional academic performance but also a genuine passion and drive for the construction industry. After careful consideration, the following students were chosen as recipients:
Bob Denomy Scholarship:
– Olivia Lecompte: Awarded $3,500
Master Builders Scholarships:
– Conner Mann: Awarded $2,500
– Kennedy Fast: Awarded $2,500
– Nate Kurava: Awarded $500
– Samuel Funches: Awarded $500

Executive Director Jessie Gamble expressed her enthusiasm for the exceptional applications received this year, stating, “We were truly impressed by the caliber of applications and essays we received. The passion and dedication displayed by these students are inspiring and give us great confidence in the future of our industry.
