Membership Recognition Awards – It’s Almost Time to Start Nominating Members!

As one of the most anticipated events of the year, the Master Builders Association of Pierce County holds the President’s Gala. At this event we take the opportunity to celebrate and thank the outgoing President and welcome the incoming President of the Association. Not only that, it’s the only event of the year where we can properly recognize and celebrate the much-appreciated efforts of our shining members. All members can nominate award winners — or even nominate yourself!

The Master Builders Association of Pierce County wouldn’t be such a successful and valuable community without the participation, involvement and sponsorship of its incredible members. At this event, we get to congratulate and present the winning members of the year with a special award.

Important Dates

Since we heavily rely on nominations for the membership recognition awards, we want to make sure all our members have the chance to voice their nominations. Check out the timeline below and start thinking about who you would like to nominate. Members will be able to submit nominees starting August 31st!

How Winners are Selected

After the voting results are received by September 28th, nominees are contacted to complete the nominee form. The form requires member information and a short description of why they should win the award in which they are nominated. When the Awards Committee meets to determine the award winners, they carefully consider the following for each nominee:

  • Membership Voting / Nomination Results
  • Nominee Forms – Due back by October 19th
  • Master Builders Association of Pierce County involvement
  • Additional criteria specific to each award

We are very excited to show gratitude to our members that continually show so much support for the Master Builders Association of Pierce County. If you would like to provide sponsorship for this event, please contact Shannon Cox at or call 253-254-0084.
